As with any book that uses unconventional names and story lines, this book takes a little to get used to. I was really thankful that the author provided useful background information in the beginning and repeated names and story lines so that the reader is prepared for the rest of the story. Since this book is about different realms, magic and fantasy the additional information is very useful.

The story is based on quadruplets Jovian, Angelica, Amber and Joya. The four siblings interact well together and yet each have their own distinctive personalities. There are six different realms in the story and these siblings are from one of them. When Amber is kidnapped, the rest must travel across the realms to find her. As they travel, they unravel new secrets and of course, must contend with evil.

Overall the book was a wonderful read! I can't wait to read the other two books in the series!

I absolutely loved the bonds of blood it was enticing and had me wanting more I cannot wait to start the rest of the series if you love fantasy mixed with magic, mystery,monsters and a family bond you should definatley read this book!
